When using Photoshop 2017/2018 and Astropad… everything works fine except there is a random screen flashing every few seconds. its unpredictable. sometimes it flashes twice in 5 secs… sometimes it takes 1 minute… i tried unchecking "Use gpu acceleration " option inside photoshop, still the issues exists. Please help…

Its really frustrating and eye straining when it pops a flash randomly !! :frowning:

USB or Wifi connection? Make and year of your Mac? How much RAM and video RAM? Which size and generation of iPad Pro? So many factors possibly at play here.

@SARAVANAN_B Is it like the screen flashes bright or different light? Or turns black?
Connects and disconnects? Or something else?

i think it turns black for a millisecond… hard to notice… but it is one flicker every few seconds.
I tried using wifi and usb… no disconnection problem…

@geshultz
I used original apple usb cable… or used 5ghz wifi…
Ipad 12.9 first generation. its an imac i5 8gb ram

It happens only when using photoshop 2017/2018… not in Autodesk sketchbook or anyother software

@SARAVANAN_B Thanks for the added details. It’s strange that it would only happen with Photoshop.
What Mac OS are you using?

Maybe try a Preferences reset for Photoshop.
How to do this – Press and hold Option+Command+Shift as you start Photoshop.

You can also try a factory reset for Astropad—
Close Astropad’s Mac app.
Then hold option/alt key, while opening the Mac app again.
It will ask if you want a factory reset.

Let us know if there is any difference.
